How can dynamic environmental monitoring be integrated with data center monitoring? “How are dynamic environmental monitoring and data center monitoring integrated?” When I first encountered “data center monitoring” and “dynamic environmental monitoring,” I wasn’t sure whether they were two separate systems or the same system. Now let me clarify: data center monitoring encompasses dynamic environmental monitoring.
I. Data Center Monitoring Content
It includes power, environment, networking, and security.
1. Data Center Power Distribution System Monitoring
Monitor the power supply and distribution status of the data center. Immediately trigger an alarm when voltage is too high or too low, current exceeds the limit, frequency is unstable, a phase is missing, or the air switch temperature is excessively high.
2. UPS System Monitoring
Monitor the operating status and parameter settings of UPS components in the monitoring computer room.
3. Battery Testing
Monitor the voltage, temperature, internal resistance, and current of each battery in the monitoring room. This enables real-time reporting of equipment status and fault information.
4. Generator Monitoring System
The generator intelligent interface board is used for real-time monitoring of the generator, recording comprehensive parameters and status such as output quality, operating condition, standby status, and backup fuel levels. It provides real-time feedback on equipment status and fault information and logs various data.
5. Data Center Air Conditioning Monitoring
It is divided into precision air-conditioning monitoring and general air-conditioning monitoring.
Monitor the operating status and parameters of all components of the precision air conditioning system in the data center.
6. Data Center Environmental Temperature and Humidity Monitoring
Real-time monitoring of data center temperature and humidity, with display and recording of operational data; automatic adjustment of data center temperature and humidity setpoints and handling of abnormal conditions based on preconfigured settings.
7. Data Center Water Leak Monitoring
Real-time monitoring of potential leakage areas in the equipment room, with display and recording of operational data. Based on preconfigured settings, an automatic leakage alarm system for the equipment room is implemented.
8. Access Control Management System
The access control system is integrated into the data center monitoring system; products with features such as anti-tailgating, dual-door interlock, and multi-card access are selected; user permission settings, door opening/closing operations, and records of personnel entry and exit are provided, along with query capabilities; based on preconfigured settings, real-time display and recording of authorized personnel’s entry and exit are enabled, and attendance tracking functionality is also offered.
9. Video Surveillance System
The video surveillance system is integrated into the data center monitoring system.
10. Fire Monitoring System
Activate the real-time fire monitoring mode; issue alarms as needed, interlock with the access control system to open designated emergency escape routes, and initiate the integrated smoke exhaust system.
11. Network Management System
Monitor the operational status and parameters of network devices such as switches, routers, servers, and storage systems.
